about me
Art has always been a way I expressed myself. I found a love for all mediums and formats of art making, so when I learned about art therapy and the concept of using art to heal and prosper I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wanted be source of support for all people to find strength in themselves as well as develop social skills and self-worth to establish healthy relationships with themselves and others.

EXPERIENCE
I worked as an Art Therapist and Counselor since 2020 in various school settings. I also taught art lessons, for many years, and loved watching young artist create and find happiness in their creations. These experiences inspired me to focus work with children and adolescents.
In my practice, I found that art making can be a wonderful way to express internalized emotions that are sometimes difficult to put into words. This is why it works well with children; a safe space is created in the art making process.
